Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio, born in 1950 in Meda, Italy, founded his design studio in 1972 and earned his Architecture degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. Partnering with Terry Dwan (1987-1996), he designed buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, he co-founded a global design ACPV studio with Patricia Viel, creating complex projects. He collaborates with Flexform, B&B Italia, Maxalto, and selectively design for other brands from Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Technogym, Boffi, Vitra. During his career Antonio Citterio has been responsible for the physical creation of genuine Italian lifestyle icons worldwide. In 2008 he was honoured by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London, which gave him the title of Royal Designer for Industry.
Founded in Meda, Italy, Flexform is a family company renowned for contemporary furniture with a modern, taste-defining style.
