Michele De Lucchi
Michele De Lucchi, born in 1951 in Ferrara and a graduate in architecture from Florence, has been a leading figure in architecture and radical design since the 1970s. Renowned for his innovative approach, he has contributed to movements like Cavart, Alchimia, and Memphis, blending experimental and functional design. De Lucchi's work spans industrial buildings, cultural centers, and iconic objects for brands such as Artemide, Olivetti, Alias, Unifor, Hermès, and Alessi.
Since 2004, he has sculpted wooden models to explore the purity of architectural form, guiding his projects with a deep focus on the interplay of design, technology, and craftsmanship. His ongoing personal research led to the founding of Produzione Privata in 1990, a platform where his vision of artisanal design thrives.
