MATERIALS
Structure double shell in rigid molded polyurethane and flexible polyurethane foam.Seat cushion in sterilized goose down (assopiuma certified, gold label) with insert in crushproof, single-density material.
Swivel base 4 spokes with return, in cast aluminum in these finishes: satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome, glossy anthracite. Feet in-turned aluminum in the same color as the base. Feet rest on tips made of thermoplastic material.
Stationary base in solid canaletto walnut with natural finish, or stained walnut extra; or in solid ash with natural finish or stained walnut, teak, wenge, ebony or brown. Feet rest on tips made of thermoplastic material.
Shell upholstery is not removable.
Seat cushion upholstery is removable in both the fabric and leather versions. -

Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio, born in 1950 in Meda, Italy, founded his design studio in 1972 and earned his Architecture degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. Partnering with Terry Dwan (1987-1996), he designed buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, he co-founded a global design ACPV studio with Patricia Viel, creating complex projects. He collaborates with Flexform, B&B Italia, Maxalto, and selectively design for other brands from Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Technogym, Boffi, Vitra. During his career Antonio Citterio has been responsible for the physical creation of genuine Italian lifestyle icons worldwide. In 2008 he was honoured by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London, which gave him the title of Royal Designer for Industry.
